A Case of Ovarian Endometriosis after Menopause

Abstract

|
We report a rare case of ovarian endometriotic cyst in a 62year-old postmenopausal woman.
The last menstrual period was about 20 years ago. She had not received any exogenous estrogen therapy. After clinical examination and instrumental investigation, we opted for surgical operation including total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral
salpingo-oophorectomy, and partial omentectomy.
